Gay marriage
I want to express my beliefs about gay marriage. First let me say this, I have friends who are gay and I don't judge them, nor hate them, nor would condemn them. I would never judge them because God doesn't want us to judge, it is His job to judge others of the actions people do. Matthew 7:1-2 says, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." It actually really hurts me to see others being judged where we don't have the right to do the judging. Instead of judging Jesus has asked us to love one another as he has loved us. Jesus loved us so much that he died on the cross for us.
From the beginning God intended that marriage be meant for only man and women as one. Mark 10: 6 “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’" If it was meant for men and men or women and women God would have intended for that in the beginning. But through out the bible it shows God only wants men and women to be together. In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 it says, 'Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.'
So what does this all mean to me? We are told to love others and hate sin. Not hate the sinner. Not judge others but to show them love. I may not agree with gay marriage but it doesn't mean I hate those who are gay. I will show everyone Christ love ALWAYS.
