Gay marriage
I want to express my beliefs about gay marriage. First let me say this, I have friends who are gay and I don't judge them, nor hate them, nor would condemn them. I would never judge them because God doesn't want us to judge, it is His job to judge others of the actions people do. Matthew 7:1-2 says, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." It actually really hurts me to see others being judged where we don't have the right to do the judging. Instead of judging Jesus has asked us to love one another as he has loved us. Jesus loved us so much that he died on the cross for us.
From the beginning God intended that marriage be meant for only man and women as one. Mark 10: 6 “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’" If it was meant for men and men or women and women God would have intended for that in the beginning. But through out the bible it shows God only wants men and women to be together. In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 it says, 'Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.'
So what does this all mean to me? We are told to love others and hate sin. Not hate the sinner. Not judge others but to show them love. I may not agree with gay marriage but it doesn't mean I hate those who are gay. I will show everyone Christ love ALWAYS.

Mommy-hood
Ever have one of them days you're like 'I'm done let the new day begin?' I came to find as an adult I have those days more and more! I just wanna hang my head against the wall in those moments. I think, 'it will be better tomorrow!' Now don't get me wrong I have good days too but it feels like some days those bad days are way worse. I love my kids so much they are incredible to me. I just am like ok done for today. NO mas por favor! LOL I had one of those days today. The kids were screaming while I was making them dinner. I give them the food they scream because they didn't want that to eat. They scream for an hour and a half before falling asleep in their beds after trying so hard to calm them down. SIGH. But life goes on. We may have stress that is just adding up but we need to remember every morning is a new day God has given to us. Lamentations 3:23-26 says, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning great is your faithfulness.I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion therefore I will wait for him.”The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord."
So we are consumed every morning for God's never ending never failing compassion. And because we know God is going to fill us up every morning we are faithful to him alone, God will help us in every situation we are going though as long as we seek him. How awesome is that? With the promise of every new morning (goodbye bad day, good bye stress) God will do good for us who are faithful to him. :) So in turn it may have been a hard day but tomorrow is new and God is going to be new and it don't matter if I wanted to bang my head on the counter or my kids stressed me out. Because I know tomorrow is new and my God is with me every day of my life. I have to every day tell myself today can be a crappy day or a good day. Focus on the good of that day and not the bad. Try not to let those bad things bring you down. Let God show you something good of every day! Will you let God show you something new today to bring you hope? Today is a new day seize it.

Thoughts from Girls with Swords study
I'm currently doing a bible study on the boom girls with Swords by Lisa Bevere. Very good book and study, highly recommend it. But I want to talk to you today on something Lisa said in chapter 8.
Lisa was talking about how lots of things in life come with warning labels and how we need to watch our thoughts. She quoted an unknown author about how our thoughts become words and actions to the point that they become our destiny. But she then talks about how God wants us to exchange our ways for his ways and our thoughts for his thoughts. Read more in Isaiah 55:8-11
And I was just thinking, you know if we would just consistently be not letting the junk into our minds hearts we would be thinking God's thoughts. Junk in, junk out but good in, good out. Think about it, I bet we can sing all the words to that song we love and know with all your heart without a second thought. But can we quote God's word when we are down and need lifted up? If we fill our mind with this God isn't pleased with; IE music, TV shows, movies, or books then how much room are we leaving for God?
Lisa Beeve said, "As we read his (God's) Word, it renews our mind. As our minds are renewed, our thoughts change. This change in our thought patterns produces a change in what we say about ourselves, our world, and others. This change in our language produces a change in our actions and connects us with heaven's purposes for earth. Our words begin to echo the will of our Father in heaven, and the vineyard begins to flourish." So what does this mean? We need to continue to be in God's word to renew our mind so that the great good of God's word and plan can happen! Our actions speak to other people, when we act one way that may not seem to exemplify Christ, how are we accomplishing God's will?
John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Live the truth, don't tell the truth. "God's truth has the power to set you apart and cloth you in light, " Lisa Bevere. I don't know about you but I want to live the the truth and not just proclaim it to people. Let's everyday strive to think and do God's thought and ways instead of our own.
